Starting May 31st, 2020, the  SoutheastHEALTH network hospitals and doctors will no longer be in-network for participants of Anthem plans. This means that employees will either have to change where they receive treatment or potentially be responsible for 100% of the costs associated with the same care they’re already to. The official word from Anthem is, “We’ve worked closely with SoutheastHEALTH for several months, but we didn’t reach an agreement.”

We’re also willing to bet that despite the cutback in network size, you can still expect a hefty increase in premiums upon renewal time. We bring this to your attention because it’s one of the primary reasons that sums up our organization’s “why” rather well. Employers and employees deserve options that provide great local care for a cost that makes sense, both out-of-pocket and in overall company healthcare spend.

If your health plan has been unfairly affected due to your carrier’s conflict of interests, we would like to know about it.

Know your options.
